Macs With Touchscreen? Apple might be planning on introducing them, Take a Look…
According to a new report, Apple plans to launch Macs with touch screens and facial recognition feature.
Bgr claims to have found a report on future Apple products. The document is interesting in that it mentions the AirPods 2, the AirPower wireless charger and the range of Mac computers. Regarding the latter, it should soon benefit from a major hardware update. It seems that Apple is testing Macs with touch screens. While we do not know if these devices will come on the market, but it is just nice to learn such news. As if that were not enough, the Cupertino giant would also intend to equip its future computers with a function of facial recognition.
After introducing Face ID on the iPad last year, the company could do the same with Mac computers.
Touch screens for Macs
Apple has always been skeptical about designing Macs with touch screens. However, future versions of macOS should be able to run iOS applications. However, these applications are designed to work on a touch interface. It’s no wonder that the company is currently testing computers with a compatible interface.
Regarding the possible integration of Face ID, this should allow owners of Mac devices to use an unlocking mechanism more convenient than passwords and fingerprints. Note that in addition to these features, the range may soon benefit from an ARM architecture to allow the use of the A-series chips instead of Intel processors.
What about AirPods 2 and AirPower?
As mentioned above, in addition to the Mac, the report evokes the AirPods 2 and the AirPower. Then know that Apple could launch these products this spring … or in the fall. The reports diverge here.
Regarding the pair of wireless headphones, it would cost more than the old version. It would show a selling price of $ 200. For its part, the wireless charger should sell around 150 dollars.
